Buyer Redemption

What your buyers see when they redeem their purchase — and how to make sure they get their links.

Buyer redemption

When a buyer purchases from your Shopee shop, they need to get their product links. This page walks you through what buyers experience so you can make sure everything works smoothly.

Only orders with certain statuses show redemption links. Eligible statuses include: Ready to Ship, Processed, Shipping Retry, Shipped, Awaiting Confirmation, and Completed. If a buyer can't find their links, their order may not have reached one of these statuses yet.

Share the redemption portal URL with buyers

Give buyers the link to your public redemption portal. You can include it in your product description, Shopee chat messages, or order notes. Buyers do not need an account. They just need their Shopee order number.

Buyer enters their order ID

The buyer opens the portal, types their Shopee order number into the search field, and clicks Search. The portal checks the order against your Shopee shop and looks up the matching product links.

Buyer receives their redemption links

If you have configured redemption URLs for the purchased products, the buyer sees their links immediately. Each link shows the product name and variant. Buyers can open a link directly, copy individual links, copy all links at once, or download the results as a file.

Buyer sees a directory when multiple links exist

When a product variant has multiple links, such as separate Windows, Mac, and Linux downloads, the buyer sees a directory page listing all available options with their labels. They can choose the one they need and open it.

What the CONTACT_SELLER warning means

If the buyer sees a Contact Seller message, it means no redemption URL was found for the product or variant they purchased. To fix this, go to the Redemption URLs page in your dashboard and assign a URL to that product or variant. A warning can appear alongside successful links if only some items in the order are missing URLs.

Make sure all your products and variants have redemption URLs assigned to avoid the Contact Seller warning. Buyers can always reach out to you directly if they encounter issues.
