Link Your Shopee Account

Connect your Shopee shop to the platform by creating a shop with partner credentials and completing the OAuth authorization flow.

Connecting your Shopee shop allows the platform to sync products, manage redemption URLs, and validate buyer orders. This guide walks through creating a shop and completing the Shopee OAuth authorization.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you need:

  • An admin account on the platform
  • Your Shopee Open Platform partner ID, partner key, and shop ID
  • The Shopee redirect URI configured in your backend environment

Linking steps

Log In to the Admin Dashboard

Open the admin dashboard in your browser and log in with your admin credentials.

Create a Shop

Navigate to Shop Management and create a new shop. Enter your Shopee partner ID, partner key, and shop ID. Associate the shop with your seller account.

Request Authorization URL

From the shop's token management section, request a Shopee authorization URL. This generates a URL that redirects you to Shopee's consent screen.

Approve in Shopee

Open the authorization URL in your browser. Log in to Shopee and approve the platform's access request. Shopee will redirect back to the platform's callback URL.

Verify Token Health

After the redirect completes, check the token health for your shop. This confirms that access and refresh tokens have been stored and are valid.

Your shop is now connected. You can sync products, configure redemption URLs, and the background worker will automatically refresh tokens before they expire.

Token auto-refresh

Once authorized, the background worker scans for expiring tokens every 5 minutes and refreshes them automatically. You do not need to manually refresh tokens unless the worker is not running.

If TOKEN_REFRESH_WORKER is not set to true in the backend environment, tokens will expire and manual refresh will be required. See the deployment guide for worker configuration.

Troubleshooting

If the OAuth flow fails, check the following:

  • Verify SHOPEE_REDIRECT_URI in backend/.env matches the callback URL registered in Shopee.
  • Check that the Shopee partner credentials are correct.
  • Ensure the admin dashboard origin is in ALLOWED_CORS_HOSTNAMES.
  • Check backend logs for OAuth callback errors.
